Generous on purpose — at EOF a --stdin-file snapshot has already streamed almost all of its content blobs, so the remaining work is the last blob plus the manifest, and a slow object store can still make that take minutes. The value is not a performance knob; it is the difference between “this run fails with a Timeout” and “this mover Job never ends”.
